Summer is coming which means it’s time for Backyard Conference! BYC is our annual summer camp! This year, the theme is called “Bringing the Revolution Home.” 

AAMPLIFY is a free two-week leadership program where you’ll develop real skills in advocacy, public speaking, and community organizing alongside students who share your experiences. 

The Bay Area Youth Climate Summit is a local environmental non-profit run entirely for youth by youth. Through solution-based climate justice organizing, we cultivate a community that empowers youth to become educators, activists, and leaders.

We are seeking a motivated high school or college student with a strong interest in maternal and child health or global health to join our team for a short-term, paid internship. This role is ideal for a student who combines creativity with curiosity about global health systems and nursing/midwifery.

BAVC Media is pleased to offer a four-week environmental justice-focused filmmaking program for high school-aged youth between the ages of 14-18, from San Francisco.  

Providing full-tuition scholarships for motivated teens, ages 14-17, to attend an Outward Bound California backpacking expedition. These scholarships are available to applicants who demonstrate financial need, and would not be able to enroll without a scholarship. 

This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling, and pay typically ranges from $25–$35 per hour including bonuses, depending on work location. We also provide paid training.
