Parents Association

Welcome to the Lick-Wilmerding Parents Association! All LWHS parenting adults are members of the PA. Our mission is to help build and sustain community among parenting adults, students, faculty, administrators, staff, and alumni of the school. We are committed to assisting parenting adults in developing an effective partnership with the school in order to achieve the best possible educational experience for the students. The Parents Association recognizes that the entire LWHS community, with its economic, cultural, and ethnic diversity is enriched by the variety of talents, resources, and backgrounds that each parenting adult brings to the school.

What we do: The PA organizes class-specific events as well as affinity group events, adult social hours, and parent education events. We also host several clubs, including a Book Club, a Knitting Club, and a series of Tiger Talks, virtual and in-person social learning events hosted by parenting adults in our community (see below for a more comprehensive list of committees and events). The PA also works with school administrators to host General Meetings in the fall and spring. These informative meetings help parenting adults understand the student experience and how the school works.

Click on the “PA Calendar” button for the most up-to-date list for the year.

We invite all parenting adults to join us in our efforts to make a positive impact on our school community. Your involvement and support are crucial to our success and the success of our students.

Please visit our Parent Association page on Blackbaud for more information and to volunteer for committees or events.
