Jessica Sabogal's work was selected by the Amplifier Foundation, in partnership with the Women's March on Washington, D.C., as one of five prints that will be distributed at the event (30,000+ prints).
It was supposed to be a two-year trip of a lifetime. Behan Gifford '88 and her husband Jamie quit their well-paying jobs, sold most of their possessions and moved their three young children, then ages 9, 6 and 4, onto a 47-foot sailboat they called Totem.
“I have my own environment that I grew up in, my own experiences that lead me to make the choices that I do,” Jillian Wu '16, a college freshman on the San Francisco told The New York Times, explaining that her parents were not very politically active.
Well-known composer Sam Adams 2004, when speaking to the audience during our annual THE event to fund a need for the school, said that one of the ways he learned how to compose music was by taking architecture with Goranka Poljak-Hoy at Lick-Wilmerding High School.
