Senior Class Gift

A LEGACY FOR OUR GRADUATESThe Senior Class Gift is a special program that allows students and families of each graduating class to give back and support future LWHS students. Each year, seniors choose a cause, project, or initiative to support, by collectively deciding what matters most to them and what they want their legacy to be.
This special tradition allows graduating seniors to show both their Tiger spirit and their appreciation for their time at Lick-Wilmerding High School. By giving back, they ensure that the things they love most about LWHS will be here for future students.
This year, the Class of 2026 is championing the importance of free speech and student voice in journalism. This timely gift will allow us to:
- Purchase podcasting equipment and upgrade the computers in the Journalism lab, ensuring that students have the tools to practice rigorous journalism and become bold advocates for free speech.
- Contribute to the Flexible Tuition Endowment (for all funds raised above equipment costs), strengthening our core value of Belonging and maintaining an inclusive community.
The Class of 2026 values truth-telling. Show them you do too, with a gift today! Our goal is 100% participation from graduating class parents to support free speech, student journalism and our commitment to accessibility. Thank you!
Special thanks to the Senior Class Gift Committee for the Class of 2026: Nyara A., Brandon D., Ativ M., Audrey M., Nalin P.

Past Gifts
Class of 2025—With the support of generous donors, the Class of 2025 purchased a Hytek Laser Cutter for our Tech Arts department. This state-of-the-art, computer-controlled machine is a game-changer for students interested in design, engineering, and fabrication. With a cutting beam just 0.25 mm wide, the laser cutter can create incredibly detailed and intricate designs in metal with amazing speed and precision. This machine will greatly enhance craftsmanship, precision, and detail in all student projects, opening up an entirely new world of creative possibilities. The Class of 2025 raised more money than the laser cutter cost, so they were also able to donate a significant gift to LWHS’ Flex Tuition Program.
