Lick-Wilmerding High School is fortunate to enjoy a tradition of philanthropy, one started with the founding of the school in 1895. Currently, our priorities include the Annual Fund, local and regional alumni gatherings and career networking opportunities; the Make The Future capital campaign to fund the new classroom building, and ongoing communications via newsletters, social media, and the annual Alumni Magazine.

Planned Giving

There are additional ways to extend your support so LWHS students will continue to receive a head, heart, hands individualized education far into the future. There are several options to choose from, whether you want to make an immediate impact, design a gift that benefits the school after you're gone, or receive income in return for your gift.

TIGER LEGACY SOCIETY

The Tiger Legacy Society was created to recognize individuals who support LWHS by including the school in their estate plans. Members of the Tiger Legacy Society come from diverse backgrounds, and yet all share a common commitment to LWHS and its mission and have demonstrated this by making a legacy gift to the school.

Members of the Tiger Legacy Society are acknowledged in our Annual Report and are invited to events, including our annual Leadership Donor Reception. In addition to these tangible membership benefits, when you join the Tiger Legacy Society you become a part of the school’s past and future, helping to ensure that LWHS will continue to provide a unique and excellent education long into the future.

Lick-Wilmerding High School, also known as The California School of Mechanical Arts, welcomes your gift of stock or securities. Transfer of ownership is handled electronically between your broker and the School’s account at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Please complete the following steps to make a donation of securities to LWHS:
