Fostering great sportsmanship and a championship spirit.
Currently, the athletic program at LWHS is comprised of 30 teams representing 10 different sports at the Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman/Sophmore levels. More than 75 percent of our student body participates in athletics throughout the academic year. LWHS student-athletes are supported by an incredible group of coaches who strive to foster the rich tradition of LWHS athletics and devote their time and energy to bringing excellence to our athletic program.
Our student-athletes are encouraged to make commitments, set goals, and work to attain them. We practice the Principles of Good Sportsmanship which prevail at all times, regardless of what the scoreboard reads. Fall 2022 Sports Tryout Date/Signup Link | Athletics Physical Form Due
Fall sports tryouts begin the week of Monday, August 8, 2022 and unless otherwise stated will run the whole week. If you are not certain of a location please plan to meet in the LWHS foyer earlier than the posted time, you will be helped to your respective location. Please make sure you fill out the google form for signups for Fall sports, linked here.

LWHS athletic teams play in the Bay Area Conference (BAC), one of the most competitive small independent school leagues in California. Four distinct leagues comprise the BAC, and LWHS competes in the BCL-West.
