Mission Statement

The Black Student Union (BSU) at LWHS exists to create a safe, empowering, and supportive space for Black students to connect, lead, and thrive. We are committed to celebrating Black culture and history, uplifting one another’s voices, and building community through education, activism, and fellowship. Our mission is to foster pride, unity, and resilience while promoting awareness, equity, and justice within our school and beyond.
