Tigers Roar Through Winter Season

Winter athletics have been exciting once again for the Tigers: exhilarating wins, heartbreaking losses, and so much growth along the way! Here are some highlights:

The Girls Varsity Basketball team is the BCL West Champions! Their dedication and teamwork earned them the #5 seed in the NCS Division II playoffs, where they’ve advanced to the semifinals. Come out to cheer them on Wednesday, February 25th, as they take on Salesian College Prep at Albany High School at 5:30pm. We wish them the best of luck as their playoff journey continues!

The Girls JV Basketball team dominated this season, posting an undefeated record and showcasing impressive young talent and a bright future for Tiger Basketball.

Boys Varsity Basketball finished second in the BCL West Championships and earned a spot in the NCS Division II playoffs, closing out the season with a 17–12 record.

Boys Varsity Soccer also secured second place in BCL West with a 6–5–1 league record, earning a NCS Division II playoff seed.

This winter, we also welcomed new coaching staff for Girls Varsity Soccer; the program is now led by Head Coach Creston Creswell. We're happy you're here, Coach!

And we are so happy to give huge congratulations to Lauryn L. ’26 and Austin S. ’26, who have both committed to continue their basketball careers at Occidental College!

Thank you to all our winter athletes and coaches for always putting your foot in the circle and competing with heart and joy! We’re excited for what the spring season will bring. Go Tigers!
