LWHS students George ’25 and Jordan ’25 childhood friend, Dylan Toma, was a joyful kid who, like most children, loved building with Legos. Due to a rare type of bone cancer called osteosarcoma, Dylan tragically passed away in 2021. In partnership with Dylan's mother, Christina Ip-Toma, LWHS students George and Jordan started a project called Dylan's Brickshop in honor of the memory of their dear friend. The organization aims to sell pre-built Lego sets to raise funds for pediatric cancer research. The shop relies on donations and volunteers to build the sets before putting them up for sale. Brick by brick, Dylan's Brickshop proudly carries on Dylan's legacy in the battle against cancer.
