Exciting New Technology Just Landed!

The LWHS Tech Arts program just got a major upgrade! Thanks to the Class of 2025's generous Senior Class Gift, a brand-new Hytek Laser Cutter has arrived in the shops—and it's already making waves.

This state-of-the-art, computer-controlled machine is a game-changer for students interested in design, engineering, and fabrication. With a cutting beam just 0.25 mm wide, the laser cutter can create incredibly detailed and intricate designs in metal with amazing speed and precision. This machine will greatly enhance craftsmanship, precision, and detail in all student projects, opening up an entirely new world of creative possibilities.

Our Tech Arts teachers are thrilled about what this means for hands-on learning. Students now have access to the kind of professional-grade equipment used in modern design studios and manufacturing facilities, bringing real-world relevance directly into the classroom.

This is an exciting time for the Tech Arts program, and we can't wait to see what students create with their new high-tech tool!
