The Lick-Wilmerding-Lux Alumni Association members come from all three schools: the California School of Mechanical Arts, the Wilmerding School of Industrial Arts, and the Lux School. In existence since 1913, the LWLAA preserves the history of the schools and fosters and enhances communications between alumni and present day students at Lick-Wilmerding High School. Alumni of all three schools are members.
Board
LWLAA Board meetings are held on the L-W campus. The lively meetings include committee reports, plans for upcoming events, choosing the Alumni Service Award recipient and selecting merchandise for the Tiger's Den store. All L-W-L Alumni are welcome to attend! If you are interested in attending an LWLAA Board meeting, or would like a copy of the meeting agenda or minutes, please e-mail or call Lillian Gardiner in the Alumni Office at 415.704.5594.
Alumni Archives
The LWLAA Board is creating an inventory of the Lick-Wilmerding-Lux archives. This project, headed by Dean Bernheim ’69, has lead to the formation of L-W-L Online Archives. Check out the photographs of these historical artifacts. You may see a piece of your history! If you do, contact us and tell us what you know. Your story will become part of the school’s living history.
