The Theatre Program offers courses in acting, playwriting, improvisation, directing, and stagecraft. Classes are designed to equip students with a solid understanding of the theatrical process in an atmosphere that values individual growth and collaboration. Students learn to work cooperatively as members of an ensemble, and to appreciate the many arts of the theatre. Each semester, the program arranges field trips to local productions and supplements courses with visiting guest artists. The comprehensive production schedule allows students ample opportunity to apply their craft as actors, directors, and designers for the stage. Offerings include: Acting, Playwrights and Performers, Improv, Directing, Stagecraft, Stagecrew Club, and Play Production.
