  • Introduction

Technology is a critical component of the Lick-Wilmerding High School experience. Technology is present in just about every aspect of our life when we are on campus and at home. The Technology staff works with faculty and students, using the best tools to effectively support the school mission and classroom curriculum.

We maintain a network using HP ProCurve network switching equipment connected across the campus with fiber-optic cables. Most of the devices on the network are connecting via our Ruckus Wireless system of wireless access points strategically located to provide the best coverage we can for faculty and students. We strive to stay connected to the faculty, staff, and students so we can always support the curriculum and the diverse community of LWHS. We work with teachers at the department and individual level to integrate technology, when appropriate, to the learning environment.
